I can't honestly say what their relationship was with God. But the fact is, they were killed for claiming the name of Christ.

amen !!
that reminds me of the ??? book of martyrs (?) I think there was a story about some Romans had sent a bunch of christians naked out on a frozen lake to freeze to death . the Romans built a sweat house to allow the ones who wanted to deny Jesus could go in and get warm well a few did it and dropped dead from heart attacks at the entrances . so once out there everyone would die period..
well the christians they sang all night to the Lord praising him and thanking him as it got quieter and quieter more singing would start again ....
by morning more than half the roman troops had taken off their clothes and went out and Died with them.
just like the thief on the cross next to him ... sometimes it isn't about how good you are but about how much you love him or his people .

So your right it doesn't matter how "good" a christian is , unless that is what he is asking of you.. but sometimes he asks if they really learned what Love means.
Those Romans didn't agape the christians they saw God's Agape's and brotherly loved they had for each other and wanted to identify with and supported God's family enough to want to be part of it.

we forget He never promises to save anyone flesh but to raise it up on the last day.

Lord we ask that you be with your people and to do those things for them and around them that only you can do.

So you accept people who kill innocents in the name of Christ as Christian now?? What real evidence do we have that these people were even killed? Or that they were killed for being christian and not for being terrorists?

When you dig down, you see that the majority died in the civil war in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Are there really 100,000 new Christian martyrs every year?

More than four million are estimated to have been killed in that war between 2000 and 2010, and CSGC counts 900,000 of them - or 20% - as martyrs.
Over 10 years, that averages out at 90,000 per year.

Most died fighting in a WAR--an activity most which evangelicals approve of

If you would like to object to the content of the article posted, then do it. I'm going to take what it says as legitimate until proven otherwise.
