It's not that big of an issue, unless you make it an issue, having an intimate relationship and a glass of wine isn't a problem to be solved. Neither is smoking a joint - if it benefits the individual or those who partake in moderation.

I do not see evil spirits behind every hedge, bush or marijuana plant.
And again, MY perspective is, regardless of what MAN says is legal or not, good or bad, as always, I would be more concerned with G-d thinks about it. I do understand that if you're not a Christian that seems like no answer at all to you, but to some Christians (me being one of them), it is THE answer, and the ONLY answer. I'm not trying to offend or deflect, this is really how I feel. Peace
I guess that the Christian prespective must be that since God created the plant and has also allowed man to improve other plants such as wheat and corn, then the use of Marijuana must be fine with him. Apparently my guess is as good as anyone else on the subject.
Thanks for at least being the only Christian taking the time to answer.
Which just means to me, that Jezebel spirit that has you, is ticked off, because she has a particular line of attack. You should study it sometime; that is if you believed the bible. Peace
You keep saying wrong things as if you expect rational people to believe them.

You could put this dispute to bed easily by anserwing the question, why is this so diffucult for you to do?.
I have a perspective. I believe it's wrong regardless of whether it is legalized or not. If prostitution were legalized, fornication would still be wrong. It's still sin, because the pleasure takes precedence over our relationship with God. We seek out that pleasure, and we stop doing his will.
That's a Christian perspective. And it's not deep. It's just my belief that anything that causes us to develop a relationship with pleasure that interferes with us serving God is a problem. And I'm guilty as charged. If you spend hours on end with a coloring book and a box of crayons you have the same problem as someone that won't serve because they would rather get high.
What happened to the obvious, like Mark 8:34, or Isaiah 53:1-12? That doesn't sound like someone with other priorities to me. It's easier to have a good time and be accepted by the world, than to be ostracized for being square.

I would say I have more than a passing familiarity with what Jesus said God was concerned about but I am hard pressed to think of any verse that concerned itself with marijuana.

Probably because He knew He gave us minds sufficiently intelligent enough to understand, "If it hurts you, DON'T DO IT!" Spiritually paraphrasing here, of course..... Peace
