Well, since His love is His Spirit.....you take what I said here....

"Or, since you don't know the hearts of men, a good one would be the easiest way. The spirit always exalts the one that sent it, like on the day of Pentecost, when the Spirit was speaking of the wonderful works of G-d among men. The exact of opposite of, toss out half of His Word He didn't speak any of it. Funny how well that works."

And you apply it what you're doing, and then tell me if G-d's Spirit which is love is exalting Him, or doctrines of flesh that are telling people to throw away His words, ect. See how easy that is? Because short of that, IT'S NOT HIS LOVE, the Spirit NEVER opposes the One who sent it. Peace

So, in your opinion, if someone loves others, unless they also believe every word in the bible is the "Word of God", then their love is counterfeit?

Stating " I'm not a Christian ... I don't 'follow' a book" and yet think you're going to prance into the presence of God like a little show pony.

Jesus said hell's eternal damnation will really happen and awaits those reject him after death ... no exceptions.

Which means, as far as I can tell, that your understanding of what love is, is to "follow a book".

No, YOUR love is just that: YOURS. But it's NOT HIS SPIRIT, WHICH IS LOVE. Peace

No, basically they're saying, "I AM a Christian, but I don't need the book." Exactly the opposite of what Jesus said, basically. Peace

What characteristics, other than believing all the words in the bible, do you believe defines what the love/spirit of God in action is?

Why? He didn't lie to you, although my understanding of it may be different in purpose and duration, there IS a judgment to the flesh that the soul partakes of after death. Would it be more loving to you, if he DIDN'T tell you about the cliff you're walking off in the dark, do you think? Peace
