The word of God.

Most believe that the commandments are the ten commandments or they are all summed up in love God and neighbor but the commandments are all of God's word and to keep them is to use them with others.

Jesus said that God commanded Him what to say and then said God's commandments are eternal life. In this statement Jesus is saying God's word s are the commandments. He also said that those who love Him keep His commandments but turns around and says that those who love Him keep His word. So it stands to reason that the commandments are the words of God.
