The Catholic church enjoys looking the other way and putting its collective head in the sand. Not sure why they continue to be so important in many lives. No spiritual depth? Fooling the masses? Big con game? Brain damage?
It takes two to tango, so people must be willingly going along with it. We could blame the elders (or whatever they're called) but this is old news. People should know better, but they continue to line themselves up as guinea pigs. Supply and demand. It's hard to have sympathy when the same sad old wheel just spins round and round.
