31 The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. The one who comes from heaven is above all.
32 He testifies to what he has seen and heard, yet no one accepts his testimony.
33 Whoever has accepted his testimony renders the truth of God.
Notice where Jesus says no one accepts the one from heaven's testimony but then says whoever does renders the truth of God.
Jesus seems to contradict himself but does he?
He doesn't because he is actually saying that those who render the truth of God become one with the one from heaven so there is no contradiction.
I use to have trouble with those verses. I wondered why Jesus contradicted himself.
Rendering the truth of God is keeping God's word and using it as Jesus commissioned.
That is why he said to abide in His word.
That is why he said that those who keep His word also keep the believers word. Because the words are the same.
John 15:20
"Remember the word that I said to you, Servants are not greater than their master. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you; if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also."

It's not difficult to quote the Scriptures word for word, but not everyone should follow your understanding.
The things and ideas of God brought from God defy logic of witness of the earth , where things and ideas of the earth can only be described by logic of the earth ....... Logic of man can reject faith in God , as man could only describe things that he has know with logic ......... The Son of God got His ideas and things through God
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."
John 4:25-26,
"The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”
26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”
John 14:6-7,
"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

"No one knows the Son except the Father and no one knows the Father except the Son and to whomever the Son will reveal Him."
The Son does reveal Him once you do what is right and walk in the light.
"He who believes In me shall do the works I do and far greater than these because I go to the Father and anything you ask in my name I shall do so the Father may be glorified in the son."
So those who do the works of the son glorify the Father and become the son.
My brothers mother and sisters hear the word of God and do it.

Guess I forgot since it sounded so much like what Jesus would say. But the saying has its own secrets as pointed out.
Peace be with you.
