Jesus wanted fellowship with His creation enough to die on a cross and shed real blood so He could offer all of us salvation by faith and grace ALONE as a free gift through His death, burial and resurrection.......no hidden gimmicks no traps. For those who believe it's the greatest message of all....God extending His hand to us.........

EPH 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; cit is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Not cheap believism but real faith and NO license to sin, but a chance to make a difference in the lives of everyone you meet......tell them be reconciled to God who loves you, act like the Ambassador of Christ you are........seated in the heavenlies and looking up waiting for His return......

One must abide in His word.

"I am the true vine and my Father is the vine keeper. He prunes away every branch in me that bears no fruit but trims clean the fruitful ones to increase there yield. Yet, you are clean by the word I have spoken to you.

I am the vine, you are the branches. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit apart from the vine can you apart from me. Abide in me as I do in you. Whoever abides in me and I in them bears much fruit because apart from me you can do nothing. Any branch that does not bear fruit will be cut down gathered up and thrown in the fire.

If you abide in me and my words abide in you , you may ask what you will and it shall be done for you. My Father is glorified in your bearing much fruit and becoming my disciple."

"If you continue in my word you are truly my disciple......."

And what exactly is the word we are required to abide in?

Yechezkel - Ezekiel - Chapter 18

20 The soul that sins, it shall die; a son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, and a father shall not bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

Tehillim - Psalms - Chapter 49

8 -a brother cannot redeem a man, he cannot give his ransom to God.

Devarim - Deuteronomy - Chapter 24

16 Fathers shall not be put to death because of sons, nor shall sons be put to death because of fathers; each man shall be put to death for his own transgression.

Shemot - Exodus - Chapter 32

30 It came to pass on the next day that Moses said to the people: "You have committed a grave sin. And now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I will obtain atonement for your sin."

31 And Moses returned to the Lord and said: "Please! This people has committed a grave sin. They have made themselves a god of gold.

32 And now, if You forgive their sin But if not, erase me now from Your book, which You have written."

33 And the Lord said to Moses: "Whoever has sinned against Me, him I will erase from My book!"

34 And now go, lead the people to [the place] of which I have spoken to you. Behold My angel will go before you. But on the day I make an accounting [of sins upon them], I will bring their sin to account against them."

35 Then the Lord struck the people with a plague, because they had made the calf that Aaron had made.

Devarim - Deuteronomy - Chapter 12

30 beware, lest you be attracted after them, after they are exterminated from before you; and lest you inquire about their gods, saying, "How did these nations serve their gods? And I will do likewise."

31 You shall not do so to the Lord, your God; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates, they did to their gods, for also their sons and their daughters they would burn in fire to their gods.

Yirmiyahu - Jeremiah - Chapter 19

4 Because they forsook Me and they estranged this place and burnt incense therein to other gods, which they had not known, they, their forefathers, and the kings of Judah, and they filled this place with the blood of innocent people.

5 And they built the high places of Baal to burn their children with fire as burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command, neither did I speak nor did it enter My mind.

So, no vicarious atonement...

Christ paid a debt he did not owe ... for those who owed a debt they could not pay.
