The only translating that existed when the protestants translated was Catholicism translating. Well over 1000 years after the councils were held--No one had a clue what was truth. So either Catholicism is correct, and protestants are all wrong. Or are just a divided house that will not stand( Mark 3:24-26)=a mass of confusion( 34,000 different trinity religions) Or Jesus waited until these last days to appoint his real teachers( Matt 24:45) who thus corrected the translating. The latter is a fact of life.
