The above list of corporations is a very abbreviated list of those that provided war materials during World War II for Germany and Japan. The last four German companies on the list were known to use slave labor.
As a result of this corporate activity the world was plunged into global war. Millions of innocent people died on both sides of the war front. The entire continent of Europe was burned to the ground as was much of Manchuria Southeast Asia and all of the islands of Japan. Divine fury was delivered by the hand of man during the first half of the twentieth century. Corporations were primarily responsible for providing material for the war, while private citizens sat back and applauded the wickedness of their respective governments. God judged.

There is an absolutely huge amount of historic evidence to support the assertion that God punishes corporate and national sin. There is current evidence that He continues to oppose it. The fact that you wish to justify sin by means of your corrupt form of humanistic philosophy does NOT negate the righteousness of the Most High.
The effect of deliberately ignoring God's strong arm in punishing sin is to invite it upon one's self. Beware that you do not go too far with your foolishness and arrogant attempt to ignore the lessons of history. Those who forget the lessons of history doom themselves to repeat it. AS OF THIS WRITING the United States is aggressively pursuing global war to sustain its financial and corporate hegemony. World War III started on August 2, 1990(*) as direct result of American instigation of Iraq to attack Kuwait. As of this writing, the global war of terror is being fought on every continent on the globe - the very definition of a World War !!! Is God unaware of this situation because CNN isn't transmitted to heaven via American cable TV companies?
American corporations such as VP Cheney's Haliburton made and continue to make huge profits at the expense of the American people and the blood of innocent targets abroad. The next three decades following the 1990 invasion were devoted to the US policy of "draining the Arab swamp". Is God pleased with US unjust attacks upon innocent people for glory and riches? He is not. You express concern about starving people abroad, but ignore their murder and the destruction of their homes for corporate profit.God doesn't ignore it.

I live two miles from where the mass shooting took place and had been there the day before the shooting. I don't appreciate the reason for the shooting being misrepresented.

A lot of people's lives have been changed forever having lost loved ones. It's not the kind of thing anyone thought would ever happen here. El Paso is generally a very safe city. The shooter was not from here but came here from Allen, TX for the express purpose of killing as many people as he could.

My heart goes out to those people and their families. All they did was go shopping. To have people try to use these types of tragedies as a jumping-off point for nonsensical religious rants is unconscionable.
