The Jehovah Witness Organizations governing body are not anointed.
News Flash!!! The ONLY anointed one is Jesus Christ. None of the rest of us even come close to His perfection, period! But we darn well better be trying.

Not actually Doc, there are many listed in the Bible, even under the Law covenant. All of the 144k are anointed.
Because you believe in a mistranslated name doesn't mean everyone will follow it.
Actually sir, the Bible indicates few will. We simply plant and water seeds, God will draw individuals who have the honest desire to have a relationship with Him.

Balderdash! Human vanity and hubris run rampant. Anyone who assumes the mantle of an anointed one is not remotely Christlike or deserving of any respect whatsoever, IMO.

You don't need an Organization of men or their stamp of approval, if it is a personal relationship.

As I member of a church that does have a very organizational structure, I can recall my bishop once telling the congregation, "Your salvation is between you and the Lord. It's not between you and your bishop, your and your stake president [the man who presides over 6-8 different congregations] or the President of the Church [aka the "Prophet"]. It's between you and the Lord. Period." I loved that. It's so freeing to be able to trust that the one who really knows your heart is the only one who's going to have a say in your eternal destiny.

I wasn't born or raised a Jehovah's Witness but I am one now.
Jesus said his followers would need to individually give up any connection to their former selves and follow him. Christ is the model for a Christian to follow.
Also, each of us would need to work out our own salvation.
What does that mean? Each Christian is responsible for maintaining that personal relationship with God.
Why? because that personal relationship helps one to have love for God. Ultimately when we have genuine love for God we can worship him out of appreciation, we can have genuine love for our fellow brothers and sisters in the faith and reach out to others out of concern for their welfare.
And, it's that love which leads to everlasting life.
Some have a distorted view of what religious organizations are for. They are not the spiritual head of anyone.
Rather, Christ is the spiritual head of a Christian and in turn the head of Christ is God.-1 Corinthians 11:3
In sum, each Jehovah's Witness would strive to maintain that personal relationship with God and consider Christ as his or her spiritual head. It's God and Christ we seek to please not men.
