I don't know what everyone else thinks, but because of the blood of Jesus.... aren't we already considered righteous/right standing/perfect before God? Therefore, I'm as good as I'm gonna get. This doesn't mean I don't have flesh stuff to deal with because I love Jesus enough to try, but regardless of how good I get it, it wouldn't be good enough anyway. If it was, then Jesus could have saved Himself a horrible death.

Don't you think perfection will come when we all learn to accept each other as we are irrespective of our beliefs?

See when some want to press their agenda as a prerequisite, then of course perfection is unattainable because you are measuring others to your own "sin list" or IOW, projection.

Seems there are many threads here now very sin focused and IMO that is where you all fall off the bus.

Who is the accuser? Who is the lover?

There seem to a huge beam in the eye ministry going on right about now - maybe that is what He meant by NOT judging.

Just saying.

That`s it right there! People don`t understand what the crucifixion was all about. They have been taught that Jesus`s death wasn`t enough. Oh,they say it was enough..because part of them can understand that they need Jesus. But, they cannot grasp what that means. They still believe they have to live close to a sinless life and they struggle mightily. They believe they have to strive and work for something..eventhough they say,it is not of works. They really can`t figure it out. Some get on here and say they never sin..they have been completely led astray..and fooling themselves. Others say, well that means I have free license to sin. They don`t get it either. Thank God he is in control of his creation!

I don't have to look at any videos. But those who believe 'we' can and will become English meaning of the word 'perfect' need to get a concordance. The Greek meaning of the word for 'perfect' is MATURE!!

Is it a sin to seek perfection?

Does God want us to be like His Son?

Where does the Scripture say Try?

godspeed,

JESUS IS NOT COMING BACK TILL THE CHURCH IS PERFECT. ?????

Are we to do the work in the church to bring her in to perfection? Or is it God who does the work in the church?

I do believe if you are born again covered in the blood of Christ you are right standing in him and you are perfect in him.

You are right! It just that there are very few born of God ( i certainly am not) .
When one is born of God they no longer sin, His seed remains in them, they come and go as the wind, they have the power of Christ.

godspeed,

freedom
