The Lord came to me like dream one-day
And asked,” Why do you sorrow?”
I answered, lowered my life is full of pain, I can't face one more tomorrow.
He said, let me explain to you and then you will understand.
Each sorrow is a stepping stone you must surmount each day.
And every stone you climb is of sorrow that’s its passes away.
The road of life is a mountainside, With crevices and which to be caught. But as you struggle on your way I can rock, will lend support. Every steppingstone to climb, makes spirit and heart grow strong.
Exercising character and faith, this road seen painful and it's long. The way is paved with steppingstone, to uplift your heart and soul.
To difficult they aid your way.
I lift up my rock to lift you up, I let behind my story; to give strength to make you climb, and never fear, the Rock is here, you'll never climb this mountain along. Surmount life’s sorrow; continue on, for there but stepping stone.
