Seems like a dumb decision to me:

From a ministry standpoint: This really doesn't look good. I mean seriously.. does that look like a house Jesus would live in? "ah yeah get me a house as far away from the needy as possible.. after all I have family coming in town". Seems bassackwards to me.

From an economy standpoint: Who buys a half mil $ house now?

From a practical standpoint: Cincy's housing problems are well known. I'm quite sure they could have got a cheaper 4 bd 2 bth for much much less money than that thing.. That looks like something an NFL player would own..

To me.. it just seems weird.. not wrong... just weird

NFL players don't need to be making millions of dollars to play a stupid game. Where priests do get a small amount of money, it's not anywhere near what you think, and not anywhere near what the rest of us make.
