LOL..........Well you know I haven't always been a fundamentalist. Would you believe I was a black liberal, semi-militant- hate white people, later even thought about creating a Christian/ Nation of Islam sect w/ the teachings of Farakhan because I hated fundamentalists and I believed that the bible was old and outdated and we needed more relevant teaching and concepts because God was more than the mere teachings of Christianity today. Now look how God has changed me!

You were trapped in one violent extreme and needed an equally ridged extreme to pull yourself out.
There's always something tangibly disruptive that drives people to fundamentalism. Now we know.
Everybody's on a path of some sort to complete the incomplete.
But I have reservations about him being a christian. That he might be a closet muslim cannot be ruled out. :

Back to the OP, I like that respects the process and honors the military. I also appreciate the way he and Michelle have tried to maintain a sense of normalcy for their kids.

Ya it was called liberalism, on the flip side, I could say you use to "expand" your mind with mary jane/ hippie love watched too much sci-fi as a kid and now you are a mystic. Not fair or nice to be psych analyzed is it?

Can't say I like much about him. I think he's fake in just about every area of life, and will say or do anything to make people believe the image.
Having said that, I do believe he loves his wife and kids. That much I think is real.
