The song paints a clear picture as to what selfishness and greed (two things condemned in the bible) are doing to humans, animals and nature.
Oooops I'll have to go to our UR creed book and see what we think about the resiliency of the earth. Oh, here it is - on page 666...
From evolution??? Evolution produced the whole "environmentalism" movement? I didn't think you believed in evolution.
But you just said it was so resil.... oh... nevermind!
If your family's water supply became toxic and they all got deathly ill I bet you'd ramp up environment a a few degrees on your importance list.
But yes, we see Jesus condemning secular music throughout his ministry. Very important. Didn't he kick some drunk musicians out of that wedding in Cana for singing some 'secular' love song?
Love ya' dude....
I have no clue what any of this has to do with Christianity. Pragamatism is sure rampant in universalism but I guess it would have to be.
How does it hurt, sandgirl, to bring attention to what we are doing to God's creation? Someone on this forum said that it helped them to realize that we are in need of a Savior, and so I believe that this video and related videos which may not specifically be about God, can be used to bring an awareness of our need for God and of our need to do a better job in caring for His creation. I may see a piece of artwork which the author may not have intended to glorify God, yet it can to me, and this is what matters, imo. God bless.
This was not about God's creation, but a secular song. And you ain't seen nothing yet. God has some surprises for the earth very soon, announcing His soon arrival.

Don't worry Sandgirl. I am trying to put together a collection of secular artist hostile to God but somehow in their songs, they are singing about the creator
Hi, there no one said that he served God. It isn't about Michael Jackson, it is about the meaning of the song and how the song can show how mankind is hurting the creation God bless.

Certainly secular wisdom has gotten us a long way, hasn't it?
