It will be a good day when people stop trying to convert others to their religion as if God condemns those who walk a different path than the one that has marched in lock-step with the wealthiest and the whitest in the world.

That will be the day we find world peace.

There never will be world peace but the only true peace is that which one finds in the presence of God.

(Matthew 28:18-19)
18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

God does condemn those that worship other "gods". The most loving thing we can do is to spread the message that we can be saved from our sin.

I read the article. My gut feeling is that Jackson was trying to cover all his bases: Islam, New-Age, Kabbalah, Christianity, and who knows what else. We all know that as long as we deviate in any way from the one true path (Jesus) even if we mix our religions for added insurance it doesn't wash in the end when we stand in front of Almighty God.

He allowed a friend to pray for him. How does that equal accepting Jesus as your Savior?

I'm confused. I thought his death was a surprise? Why were people around praying for him?

I did hear that he believed that he would die an early death. Personally, I believe that he was searching and I believe that eventually he will be a believer and restored to the Creator, if he wasn't at his death. God bless.
