Instead the gospel says it's repentance that opens up the door for God's grace on us. People figure water baptism is not salvation cause it's not grace by God to be saved. No John 3:5 salvation with water or H2O then the grace gospel can't have an open door to save you says Paul in Romans 6:1 and Hebrews 6. The same Paul on water baptism is just like the Peter of the bible on water baptism for salvation and the Jesus of the bible in Matthew 3 for water baptism to saved you. Only thing Paul would say can't save you is a high priest in the flesh as well as those animal offerings and circumcision today. New law gospel today or John 1:17

You seem to be saying you need to be water baptised before you are saved, this makes it the work of being water baptised that opens the door so that salvation can happen.

However as pcamps has pointed out in scripture it is faith in Gods grace that saves us not any works on our part.

Somebody is finally on to the truth for once around here. Indeed it is by repentance that you have the opportunity to turn back to YHVH and become HIS. If one does NOT repent (the are unrepentant) that don't count on grace to save you. That's for sure. Faith is an ACTION, a VERB, NOT some woo woo think process. That is exactly why the statement (faith without works is dead) was made. Get a clue here........

The bible math says the gospel is repentance as much as grace.
The "works" gospel is practical today in 1 Timothy 6.
The "works" gospel is practical today in James 2.
The "works" gospel is practical today in Ephesians 2:9.

The "works" gospel a cuss word in Ephesians 2:8 today.
The "works" gospel a cuss word in Romans 3:21 today.

In summary the "works" gospel is only a cuss word today if you
talking about circumcision, animal offerings and a high priest other
then Jesus as we speak.

The kind of works you do will determine if your an extremist or liberal
with the bible book too much.


Just read today in 1 Corinthians 3 that God could'nt bring revelation and real meat of the bible book in the church into we get this bible book unity with people more spiritually together. Elementary teaching with the bible book has held back a real move of God with his people a long time. This is why Paul went off into his preaching good in Hebrews 6. God only bringing milk sermons in the church until we get the basics of the gospel together and do bible book unity with people enough. Again the preaching Paul on this in Hebrews 6 and 1 Corinthians 3. Really Matthew 3 is John preaching elementary teaching before they can claim water baptism for salvation. That's why he went off on the Pharisees thinking they could get grace and inheritance rights in the spiritual things of God. No repentance from old law works of circumcision, animal offerings, etc. then water baptism is in vain just like grace in vain if you despise water baptism for salvation. That's why John called the Pharisees a generation of viper people. They wanted to come to the door of God a cunning way instead of the John 10 way. Just like a snake cunning the Pharisees are cunning trying to come to God for salvation. You can't be slick on God and be saved. The book say what it mean all over. Eve sure tried to be slick on God while she called herself being smarter then God. The Pharisees tried to be slick on God while they guard the tomb and lied about somebody stealing him away. They tried to be slick on Jesus and plot false witnesses against him even though he healed people and was feeding ungrateful folks with manna from heaven dropping. Jealousy made people get slick on Jesus like Lucifer was with his inward thoughts with pride and inquity as well as emulation. Made Phoraoh get slick on God with the striking of the rod back with arrogance and pride in his heart as well as emulation too. Nobody can get slick on God and be smarter then him writing the bible completely not even if you been to theology school and got a divinity degree. This arrogance, pride and emulation proof or John wouldn't be preaching on this so good in Revelations 22:18-19. Your common sense not slick enough to have a private intrepretation for God. At least Peter saying Amen to that
in 2 Peter 1:20-21. Your bible I.Q. not smart enough to get past the righteousness of God with the whole bible book on salvation. Truly an Amen to that in Isaiah 64:6. The least of the wit of God can take on the best of what man think he got of wit. Nothing but an Amen to that in
1 Corinthians 1 somewhere. Every mean every in Matthew 4:4. No "every" gospel you got a "nothing" gospel to be saved. Matthew saying Amen to that and so is Luke in Luke 4:4. The "every" gospel so strict Matthew picked it up some more in Matthew 5:18-20 somewhere. He said the "every" gospel is making all the punctation and all the letters of the bible an "every" gospel too. You smarter then God with his grammar and punctation or just style of writing then Matthew and John got a repentance gospel to preach on this if you going to heaven. Your reservation tickets to heaven with a resume with grace is not going to cover your travel fare to heaven enough. Nothing but an Amen to this by Paul in Romans 6:1, 15. Atonement can't bail you out without the "works" gospel for today. Bet your life on it not your car and home insurance on it.
