Jesus Christ and God the Father are two separate beings the same as are earthly fathers and sons, even though each may look alike and have many similar traits.
Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are united in a single purpose: "to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man."

That is mormon theology, and is heretical.
Jesus is God...not "a" god...he is God.
John 1 covers that, as do a myriad of other verses showing his divinity.

The leaders of many Christian denominations continue to teach their members that they must accept the dictates of the scholars who attended the 4th and 5th century Nicene councils. It was those scholars who tried to reconcile different prevailing beliefs of their time by inventing the notion that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are somehow crammed into one single shape and form.
The Lord's apostles did not teach that, though I admit you could probably twist and spin verses from the bible to support such a doctrine even though it's so confusing and impossible to rationally understand that it has to ultimately be explained off as "a mystery."
God the Father, His son Jesus Christ, and another son we call the "Holy Ghost" (because of his primary role) form the godhead similar to a father on earth who makes himself president of a family corporation and appoints two of his sons as vice presidents could form the presidency of an organization with a single purpose or mission. All three of them could be considered "one" in mind and purpose, to move that mission forward.
You don't need to create a mystery to understand that.

And I accused of bashing,?
Nor did the Lord's apostles taught your version of the gospel

do you believe that Jesus is God as well as the Father a God?
do you believe that Jesus is God as well as the Father a God?
I understand what you are probably aiming at and if so can anticipate your programmed response regardless of how I choose my words.
Yes, Jesus Christ is the god who created this world. He's Jehovah, the god of the Old Testament. And he's the same now-resurrected Savior and Redeemer written of in the New Testament.
But it's God the Father who is the Heavenly Parent, the God who created the spirit bodies that inhabit the physical tabernacles of all of His children, including that of Jesus Christ.
