That place just goes from disaster to disaster. Then I remember that much of the Caribbean (my home area) sits in a seismic/hurricane zone.

Please don't tell me you're not aware that Haiti was hit with a 7.3 magnitude quake?

Trinidad is a little bit out of both the hurricane and earthquake loop, but still vulnerable, nonetheless.

fully...I know all that. I was there during its last earthquake. It was in the ocean just off Port of Spain. You said, home area so what island?

C'est l'isle entre Cuba et Puerto Rico. The island still exists. Untold damage to 100's of thousands.

Gravely injured Haitians pleaded for help after the strongest earthquake to hit the poor Caribbean nation in more than 200 years crushed thousands of structures. A Red Cross spokesman Paul said an estimated 3 million people may have been affected by the quake.
