I took the liberty to look at the guy that filmed this piece's other video's on you tube. I can honestly say I wasn't able to get past minute number 2 on any of them. I'll bet that AUTOMOBILE magazine will not be knocking on his door anytime soon.

Although I would never buy a Chrysler product, I agree with the others. Looks like the car was abused and poorly detailed. Most of those issues should have been fixed before it went for sale. If you wish to see what quality is really like, look at new and then compare that to at least half a dozen used ones. Then you can get some idea of how they hold up.

LOL on a 35k rental car?

does any rental car look good. The door gaps could be from a wreck or just people hanging on the doors, and flexing the hinges down.

I was in a rental Camry in Boston, I swear, someone jumped a bridge in it dukes of hazard sytle, it had horrid clunking, like the shocks were blown out, almost to the point of wanting to return the car because we were worrid it was going to be an issue. Luckily we were just doing a straight shoot drive on the highway. Also it looked like a light pole fell on the car, had a dent on the door frame and ceiling, and on section of the ground effects was missing. (didn't know Camrys came with ground effects, but this one did)

I don't blame Camry, hell not even sure I blame the rental car, it had like 10k miles on it, someone beat that car.

I can attest I did stuff I woulnd't do in my car in rentals. Like 3 ft, iced over snow drift from a plowed road blocking a driveway, I just hit it, and floored it in the rental my car I woulnd't have done it.

My 2012 jeep sahara came with rubber fenders on one side and painted fenders on the other.

Great quality control.

How did this Jeep leave the factory with the wrong parts?

You should read the test of the 2012 Wrangler Sahara in the latest Consumer Reports. They gave it a rating of 20 out of 100 possible points, thus making it the lowest rated car that they have tested recently.

well lets take a honda civic off road and see how it does. if it sucks we will rate it last.

the 2012 jeep has been 4x4 of the year in almost every other publication when compared to others in its class .

its a go anywhere vehicle and go anywhere its superb at.... its not a road or bad weather vehicle only as many crossovers and suv's are .as such it cant be compared to a road designed vehicle
although i have to tell you its my daily driver now since i sold my bmw 328xi and i dont miss it at all.

consumer magazines has a bad habbit of lumping vehicles together and comparing them when they have no business being together. as the best performing off road vehicle taking almost every catagory its bound to score low as a road vehicle.

typically consumers guide will lump vehicles together like a rav4, a crv and a murano and compare them to an xterra or jeep wrangler and they are as different designs for different terrain as can be.

I almost rented a Camaro back in like 2001, while my car was down getting a new transmission, to go to a track day bracket racing event. But my car got finished 12 hours before the event, and I raced it.

What's the issue with fitment? Since you asked twice:

Let me google that for you

I'm considering a new Charger to replace my 8 year old Infiniti (which is holding up well) but this gives me pause.

Makes you want to run right out and buy a program car, huh?

Now the bigger question; what car will the AARP driver turn to now that the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis are history?
