They no longer make the Dodge Magnum, they went out of production back in 2008. They only made them for just a few years, I believe 2004 to 2008. You can get them with a V6 or two choices of V8 engines. It is a heavy car so I would imagine the gas mileage is not all that great. I know a few people who had them, and they seem to have held up pretty good before they traded the in on something else. I actually liked the 5.7 Hemi and the 6.1 SRT8 versions.

They were built on the same platform as the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300. What do you think about the Charger or 300?

I bought an 05 RT new and have about 135K miles on it. First new car I ever bought. I love it. lots of room and power. Has held up well. Interior is almost like new. Leather seats have held up well. Surprisingly good in snow. You have to get used to bigger than normal blind spots...

Great stereo! I like to drive with the back seats down as it provides better sound and I can fit 7' fishing rods!

Had a minor AC issue that was under warranty. Went through a few sets of tires (especially the first two sets which were the factory Continentals. Brakes, suspension, steering are heavy duty. Paint has held up really well. Wheels started corroding in places about a year ago. Had to replace lug nuts a few years ago. Replaced shock all around a few years ago.

Have not seen one in years. Too bad. Attractive cars. Apparently the success of the Charger ended the line. Too bad.

I see them on road almost everyday around where I live, seem to be a popular choice in the used car market. I also read years ago, that Chrysler didn't kill the magnum due to poor sales, but that it was a business decision. I believe they had too many cars based on the same platform. The charger, 300, magnum, and challenger and something had to go. I also read a few years ago that Chrysler was thinking about bringing the magnum back or reviving the name.

Guy at work has one, sitting in his yard because the engine wasn't properly maintained and some little oil passage got clogged up and burned up his engine. His has the V6, and he did manage almost 200000 miles out it. I thought then, they were butt ugly, and I still do, but I think if Dodge would use the new Chargers and build one, that would look good!
