They went bankrupt due to moral corruption. Classic free market economics. For about 40 years gm has completely misjudged the american market. To the point where japan pretty much owns our market. They know what they want, they know how to get it to us, and they can do it cheaper and more efficiently. In my personal opinion we should let these guys rot and let others more capable of running auto business take over. I for one am tired of watching ding dongs run companies to the ground only to receive welfare.

Of course a GT500 could beat a Camaro SS. Now a Camaro SS with a LS9 would run circles around a GT500. Thats why most compare a Shelby GT500 more to a corvette then a Camaro. Their more similar then a Camaro SS and a GT500.
