In this case it's the automaker, not just that particular dealer. But, if it soulds too good to be true, it ususally is.

dealer in the generic sense... automakers do deal in cars...

and you are correct, TOO good to be true...

but I should have added that if one does not read the fine print, one gets what one deserves.

$200 in damages nixes a return....someone better hope the dealer doesn't decide to replace one tire.

Then again, if you are going through that kind of effort, you better not be turning back.

YOU turn in the car you lose the sales tax money you paid for registering the car.In New York it is a least 2 Grand to reg.one of those bombs
