Hey there cincinnati!

I'm planning on moving into an affordable apartment/condo/house with my wife next december and I'm trying to figure out where would be a good place.

I've lived in Cincinnati all my life, I'm a student at UC (until 2014) or so. I'm looking to find a place to live that is nice and affordable looking to spend about roughly ~800-1000$ (Less would be awesome) on rent/utilities/cable/internet. I was thinking about moving into some apartments on Beechmont, they are about 2 minutes away from the highway which makes getting to UC/work easier. I'm still not sure though, I've considered Mt. Lookout and Hyde Park as well but I just don't know.

If you have any other recommendations about some good affordable places to live, let me know!

Thanks.

If you can deal with an older place, there are some apartments on Beechmont Ave. hill in Mt. Washington that are advertised for $450 including heat. I do not know what condition that they are in BUT I would trade a little in sweat cleaning up the place for a lower rent.

That would also put you on the Queen City Metro line that connects Mt. Washington with Clifton. That might not interest you BUT it is there if you need it.

Do you have any links or names to these apartments?

I'd go with Mt. Lookout, same amenities and feel but without the price, plus you'll probably enjoy it being younger. The renovated square is another huge plus.

Also check out Prospect Hill.
