My wife and I want to go away for a ngiht or two, and we're looking to rent a cabin with a hot tub (we love hot tubs). Can anyone recommend something fairly close? I'm thinking like within an hour or so. The only thing I've found was Hocking Hills, which Google says is 2.5 hours away, and that's too far.

Finding Bed and Breakfasts is easy, but finding cabins nearby, not so much.

Thank you.

The Eastgate Holiday Inn used to have a bridal suite with a hot tub. Not that I would have ever seen same.

I would recommend Hocking Hills, 2.5 hours or not, just due to the tranquil nature of the surroundings. It should make the drive and anticipation worthwhile.

Always a bridesmaid, never a bride, huh? Shame.

I had a couple of rough decades I tell you that.

The only other places I would recommend for a romantic couple of day getaway would be Nashville, Indiana, and the Natural Bridge Kentucky area. But both of them are actually further than Hocking Hills.

The Murphin Ridge Inn in West Union might be perfect!
Bed Breakfast Ohio Southern, Bed Breakfast Romantic Weekend Getaway Midwest
Among their accommodations are private cabins with "whirlpool tubs." West Union is a little over an hour east of Cincy via Ohio 125 (Beechmont Ave), and you could probably get there faster by taking the Appalachian Highway (Ohio 32) and then following US 68 south to pick up 125 on the eastern outskirts of Georgetown.
Having ads and a write-up in Cincinnati magazine don't necessarily count for much, but that's how I found out about this place. It's situated in the Shawnee State Forest area, a rural and heavily wooded part of the state. So, check out the Web site for yourself. And if you end up weekending in West Union, let us know how it turned out.

I can second the Murphin Ridge Inn having stayed there a few times and eaten at the restaurant several times. I bet the hiking trails would be cool in the winter. Better have a 4WD vehicle if there is any snow.

DW and I stayed at Burlington's Willis Graves B&B down by the airport a couple of years ago and had a wonderful time. While we stayed in the main house/homestead, they also have a log cabin on the property. It doesn't say there is a hot tub, the description for the "Spa Bathroom" includes a double whirlpool and steam shower. It is definitely within the distance you requested. Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Bed and Breakfast Accommodations and Lodging

And even though it is near the airport, we were never bothered by plane noise.
