I obviously did a lot better with girls that knew what they were getting into rather than blind dates with strangers.

...Which leads me to my point: how well do you know this person? If it really is a blind date, your best bet is to think up three different ideas, then go to dinner and pick the most appropriate one after you get a chance to talk. Live music, festivals, and classy sporting events are usually pretty safe bets. Movies are generic and boring, but expected.

Specific to Cincinnati, I would hit up a live music venue or a festival of some sort. Don't go to a Reds game when it is hot like this, or she will begin to associate your presence with being sweaty and uncomfortable.
Excellent post! From a woman's standpoint, I would not have admitted this to a guy, but in addition to disliking being uncomfortable in the heat, I also HATED the idea that on a date I was going to look rumpled and sweaty, with limp hair and running makeup from the heat and humidity. Yeah, I realize not all women feel this way, but best to rule out the possibility that she does before planning outside stuff.

LOL thanks for all the feedback / back lash. We've been chatting on Fb or talking on the phone for over a month now so it's not a blind date. She's a West End girl so putt putt and miniature bowling sounds great to her. If I take her to Bass Pro Shops on the way home she may propose to me

We are planning on going to a museum next weekend, thanks for the info about the Art museum being free.

West End Girl, huh? Probably want to amend that to "West Side Girl." Although most would prefer a West End Girl I suppose:
