Hello - I am in my early 50s, single female, and thinking about relocating to the Loveland, Montgomery area. I currently live in NJ where cost of housing (rent or purchase), taxes, etc is prohibitively expensive.

I have family in Loveland and would also be bringing my 82 year old Mom. Not sure if she'd move in to an assisted living in the area (which we've already looked at) or if she'd buy a small home or townhouse.

I'd be looking to either live with my Mom for the time being or rent a small place for myself. (Looked at Loveland at the Station, Bishops Gate, Glenbridge Manors, Nantucket). Have not seen 49 Hundred yet but it looks a bit out of my price range.

The issue is employment. I have many years experience doing Administrative/Executive Assisting.

I've looked at jobs online but so far have not found too much. Not sure if traveling into downtown Cincinnati will be necessary or not.

Just curious if anyone on here is in a similar situation as myself - will the job market be very difficult for me? How far would I need to travel to get to work if I did not find anything in the immediate area - such as a corporation, hospital or small business?

I realize the pay will be lower - but I'm okay with that.

Just looking if anyone else has made a similar move in their early 50s and how happy they are with the change. Was it easy to meet people and make new friends in your age group? Do you feel safe living alone in your community?

Thanks!
