So sorry to hear that. Understand the circumstances, but when the reality comes, such a disappointment.

Such an uplifting story all winter. Really shows the good of people. My eyes watered reading the article this morning.

She was young and brave and had a clear mission in the face of personal tragedy. Let's hope other young people notice her example and find some serious content in their own lives.

This amazing young lady was the epitome of class, courage, and grace under fire. She won't be forgotten.

Won't it be great when the day comes when the inspiring ones become the achieving ones.

The thing that stands out in my mind is how much she was able to accomplish in such a short time, and in the face of such adversity. How few people manage to do even a fraction of what she did in a long, uneventful lifetime. When we first heard about her, she wasn't expected to live until Christmas. I think sheer will to help to others kept her alive. In my 65 years I don't remember anything to match Lauren's legacy.

Don't deny that, it just would have been greater if the duration was longer.
