If you've never been to EnterTRAINment Junction in West Chester, OH, it is the most impressive G-Scale Model Railroad Layout I've ever seen. While on vacation they were kind enough to allow me to shoot some spectacular video, including CAB RIDES, of several of their Main Lines, which cover three different eras: Steam, 1940's-50's, and Modern. You've got to see this place to believe it! My kids spent eight hours there and never got bored! Here's a link to the video:

Thanks for sharing. I go to Cincinnati to visit a few times a year. Will have to go there. Another great place is the museum at Union Station in Cincinnati. As you walk in there is a scale model of Cincy in the 1940 or 50. Can't remember exactly.

It really is impressive and a great place to spend a good chunk of the day if you're into model trains. I know one of the guys who started this and he had an awesome layout in his backyard.

I met Don, and he was going to invite me over to video his backyard layout, but then his family got unexpected company the night before and consequently we never hooked up.

We visited a much smaller place like this called the Choo Choo Barn in Strasburg, Penn. It was fabulous even though it was only 1700sqft. 25,000sqft boggles the mind...my 5 year old son is going to go nuts! =) =) I have a feeling once he knows this is nearby, the zoo is going to pale. Thanks for sharing your videos--very very cool.

Since I am not familiar with your area, you'll have to clarify what CG&E stands for? I do know that Wikipedia says the largest S-Scale Model RR layout is the one in the Cincinnati In Motion Museum.

Cincinnati gas and electric. That was the name before Cinergy then Duke bought it out. CG&E had a huge Christmas display(layout) in downtown Cincinnati. It was an annual event here.
