I still check everyday (FB only a couple times aweek) I still enjoy the original way we were able to get together after so many yrs. I am one of those that changes slowly and in my mind 'The Manor' sprang to life again in these pages , pictures and people. This thread is the first thing I check after turning on pc... Thanks everyone!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone, Just wanted to chek in and say Hello...also want to share with you all what happened last week. I had a diret message on here and was notified by email ...so I came to get my message and I was shocked !! It was from a neighbor from the manor that said a co-worker came in and reminded her of my mother, so she said she told the woman about my mother and all the things she remembered about her
Then she said she googled my mothers name and got this forum...I emailed her back and gave her my number...the next day the phone rang and it was her mother.Emma Crawford .my mothers dear friend she first met at the Manor and they stayed friends until my mother passed away... She updated me on the family and I was just so happy to be talking with her. I will definatly stay in touch with them. The Crawford family lived across the hall from the Butchies. I will be back in to check on you all often, I'm not leaving this forum...It is still alot of fun here

I hear ya, Jerry. This thread is kind of like having a comfy home and being surrounded by lots of good neighbors. As long as it's all in good condition, it's a lot easier just to stay put.
