There is nothing on the UC sports site about single game football tickets.

So they only sell season ticket packages. Or do singles go on sale a bit closer to the fall?

Also, what's the best area to stay in without paying 300.00 for a good hotel room?
Are there still a bunch of clubs and restaurants on the riverfront? Are they safe to park and walk?

Single game tickets will go on sale later this summer. Also the games rarely sell out so tickets shouldn't be a problem. Yes, there are new bars and restaurants at the banks on the river. Yes, it's safe. Also plenty of places around Fountain Square and then again on Vine Street between Central and Liberty.

There are a few hotels right next the campus including the Hampton Inn on Short Vine and Marriot on Goodman.

There's a number of hotels on the riverfront on the Kentucky side in Covington as well. I'm not sure about how their prices typically differ from the hotels in Downtown Cincinnati or around UC, but they're worth a look at least.
