I'm moving to Cincinnati in a few weeks.
I won't have a phone line, and I'm trying to find a good internet provider.
How does Current compare with other companies as far as speed and quality (customer service, etc.) go?
I'm looking at their Premier Access Plan, with a speed of 3 Mbps.
Thanks!

I have used it. It's fair to good. Some problems that i have run into is that the further away the modem in installed into a power socket the weaker the signal. I had mine installed on the upper level. The electrical box was located in the basement and i had problems with the signal reaching the modem. The solution was installing a wireless into one of the power outlets in the basement that had a strong signal.

One good positive was that i could install this modem into another location(In the metro) and still use my account.

The speed was good but not the best. I got 3mbps download and 3mbps upload. The upload blew everthing I ever used away. I found that roadrunner was twice as fast though since i mostly download. But the price is not bad for what all you can get.

Wow that is wild. Does it increase your electric bill more than a normal DSL/cable modem would?

It's not electric at all. It's radio waves that sent through the power lines.
