That's true. The Night Owl service was suspended a few years ago.

I wish it did when I lived there... I was stuck paying the ridiculous cab fare that Boston has. The cab drivers there are also notorious for using Boston's winding random roads to their advantage.

OK got it. Part of the 'new economic reality', I assume.

No doubt. I've hopped out and told the driver to go f* himself more than a few times.

I'd still rather pay the $ than take a bus at 2am though.

The LA metro is also ramping up night time service - trains every 10 minutes until midnight. Now if they could just get the trains to stay open till 2 AM...

I think I saw the other day that the last train stops leave Union station at 12:40. If I remember correctly that is a little bit earlier than Boston, right? They stopped at like 1:30. (still too early)

Yeah last trains here are ~1:30am. Would be nice if they ran another hour to accommodate the 2am last call.

Judging which two of these cities is the most urban is really quite simple. Here are some pictures. Anyone should be able to notice the difference between the two. Should be quite obvious!

Seriously man? You are hurting your own argument by posting some beautiful shots of the most desirable places in Boston and then some shot of the 110 / I-5 interchange near Elysian Park. Its like the very edge of Chinatown, no one really even lives there. (I am kind of surprised you didn't find a shot of the SFV, then you wouldn't even have that pesky skyline!)

I mean come on man.
