Phoenix.... I dont like the humid southeast. Phoenix has a much nicer climate, hot, dry, does not rain nearly as much, better surroundings...mountains, desert.
Lauderdale all the way. Not a big fan of the humidity, but the ocean breeze is really nice, and the winters are better in Lauderdale. Plus, the beach, beach, beach, beach. Ahhhhhh.

Phoenix 100%. Fort Lauderdale is more than the beach. The city has some of the worst ghettoes in the country, lives in Miami's shadow, and next to West Palm is more susceptible to hurricanes than any city in the United States. No thanks.
Fort Lauderdale. PHX is nice, but comes in 2nd in this poll.
