Miami has a more diverse Latin American population, I think it goes w/o mentioning that it has a more diverse Caribbean population(I place it under the Latin American category, but other's don't) and a more diverse European population.
Miami also has a slightly more diverse black population.

Miami is light years ahead of Houston in terms of racial itnegration and diversity. Miami is practically a latin american country with americans in it.

Do you realize Houston has more Asians, more Africans, it does come behind Miami in Latin Americans aside from Mexican and Central American where it dominates Miami. European in Miami is larger.
Houston is light years ahead of Miami in both diversity and integration. Miami still has barrios.
Houston is easily the most diverse city in South ethnically, Miami lacks Asian diversity it is quite pitiful and Houston has good Latino base not like Miami's but still rather strong.

1. Houston
2. Miami
3. Dallas
4. Atlanta

While the suburbs are more diverse than the City, it happens in Atlanta (switch Vietnamese with Chinese & gay).

Also consider the fact that a white, out lesbian was elected in a city-wide vote in the late 90's, when the black majority was MUCH larger than now.

People are REALLY sleeping on Atlanta here. I really can't wait until the final Census figures are released.

Houston so called racial integration is so over exaggerated on these threads.
