Which has the bigger and more vibrant downtown? Im not talking about skyline, but actual street level.

What do you mean? Spokane actually has a surprisingly decent sized downtown that is walkable, and has a good mix of old and new buildings.

Im curious how people think it compares to Tucson.

Here is Spokane:

Here is Tucson:

There is no way that anyone who has actually been to both downtowns would say Tucson is bigger and more vibrant.

It's not even close, Spokane blows Tucson out of the water. Its much bigger, more pedestrian friendly, has way more activity, has large department stores like Nordstrom.

Spokane flies under the radar, but for a city of 200,000 it has a surprisingly good downtown.

Have the people voting actually been to both cities?

This isn't even close. So few people have been to Spokane, I dont think they recognize its downtown leaps and bounds above Tucson's. Ive spent a lot of time in both, trust me on this.

Downtown Spokane is lined with block after block of this:

Agreed - Spokane has the core of a larger city. Fantastic older architecture (Davenport Hotel, etc), a great downtown shopping center and downtown park. So much potential.

I would honestly say Spokane is the most underrated downtown west of the Mississippi.
