Oh tell me it isn't soo!

<sigh> figures ~ and I've been in Florida so long don't think my body could handle that at all~ I was in Asheville, NC a couple of years ago in May and it was down in the 40's at night and I thought I'd not make it the way all my muscles cramped up!

I am writing a few years passed the time these posts may have been relevant, but wondering if the woman who lost her partner ever did relocate to Las Cruces, and if so, what happened?

Look at her profile, It is public and looks current as of 2011 and says she lives in Tampa, Florida....

Default Las Cruces or Tucson

My husband and I are retiring to Las Cruces next year and we built a home there in 2009. We explored various areas of NM before settling in LC. Santa Fe was too expensive, ABQ too big, and they were both colder as others have said. We also spent several days in Tucson which seemed much bigger and harder to get around. It seemed like everywhere we went took a long time to get to, like just going out to dinner or to recreational areas, etc. It reminded me more of ABQ as far as getting around. We love LC . The proximity to El Paso provides easy access to an easy to get around airport, additional shopping, and the intersecting of I-10 and I-25. In addition, we love the farmers market, all the close recreational areas, having a university there and most of all the mountains and the weather. We have met some wonderful people. We are currently from the St. Louis area so this is quite a change but every time we arrive at our retirement home for a visit, we have a sense of peace, relaxation and being at home.
