What do you define as a "Large City?"

If I had to pick, I would say:

Cincinnati, OH
Charleston, SC

Baltimore, MD
Pittsburgh, PA

Houston, Dallas and Minneapolis are least discussed I think. They are not exactly walkable and have good density but they are not brought out as examples of unwalkable like Los Angeles and Atlanta, etc.

In this forum what is discussed most is walkability, skyline and density.

Albuquerque is the most underrated on your list. It is always in the shadow of Santa Fe in the minds of most people, yet it is the more down-to-earth, "real" New Mexico city. It has more to offer than Santa Fe all the way around except in art and haute cuisine and other things that cater to the rich.

I would agree also that Philly is underrated, but not the most underrated.

These days I think L.A. is underrated, but maybe that's good, it keeps the city from getting too touristy.

I think Las Vegas might be the most overrated, strange as it sounds. Vegas is often praised by people but it is very backhanded praise, as most people say "it's a great place to visit but they wouldn't want to live there". It is underrated as a city to live in, because away from the strip and downtown, the city is a very nice city in which to live; its residents are offered a lot of benefits for living there.

Los Angeles is underrated by many people, but it certainly gets talked about.
