Funny thing is I remember all of the racial BS that has happened to me, and nearly all of it has occured in either DC or PG. But if it makes you feel any better, the "black community" isn't the only one at fault. And if you really think about it, if I faced ample amounts of segregation and racist crap in Fairfax, would you think I would call myself "The Fairfaxian"? Really?

And by the way, tell me how are those DC "young professional" happy hours, Sunday brunches, and parties going? It's almost like "Where's Waldo" when trying to find a black person in a lot of social gatherings seen in the trendy spots and gentrifying neighborhoods (refer to DCist and other DC blogs for proof). Hell, at least the Arlington preps have the token black friend.

Pittsburgh does seem like a nice place to live. Honolulu, seriously, most expensive place to live and poor public housing which is why there is so many homeless.
