Share of National GDP by Metro 2010:

- San Francisco/Oakland: 1.9% (http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Fil...0Francisco.pdf)

- San Jose: 1.1% (http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Fil...San%20Jose.pdf)

- Seattle: 1.4% (http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Fil...es/Seattle.pdf)

- Detroit: 1.4% (http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Fil...es/Detroit.pdf)

- Washington DC: 2.5% (http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Fil...Washington.pdf)

- Boston: 2.1% (http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Fil...les/Boston.pdf)

- Miami/Fort Lauderdale: 1.7% (http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Fil...iles/Miami.pdf)

- Baltimore: 0.9% (http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Fil.../Baltimore.pdf)

Okay, so this information is by the Brookings Institution, they don't have the exact figures for the GDP but they have the percentage share a Metro takes up of the national GDP.

The question here is, do you believe that this is accurate for 2010? Personally some errors I noticed instantly were the population figures for all the Metro's are not in sync with the US Census for what they claim as the 2010 population (so far) & the 2007 Per Capita Incomes are a bit off when related to BEA.
