Every Texan knows that Houston and Dallas are fierce rivals. It would be rather foolish to post a Houston vs. Dallas thread, as TEXANS would be voting with their pride instead of their heads. What I think would be informative would be to see what non-Texans think about the state’s two powerhouses. So IF TEXANS WILL RESTRAIN THEMSELVES, we might gest a glimpse into what the rest of the country thinks. As a former Houstonian, I will not participate.

I’m asking you to rate the two according to the following criteria:

• Economy
• Culture
• Art scene
• Night life
• Restaurants
• Parks/outdoor amenities
• Diversity
• Cost of living
• Vibe/hipness
• Anything else you feel is relevant

I’m asking you to rate the two according to the following criteria:

• Economy - Both very good overall Houston has a very slight edge when based on per cap and think better positioned with industries
• Culture - Similar DFW seems a bit more Texan if that makes sense
• Art scene - Probably a draw overall, neither tremendous but neither a sloutch
• Night life - Hmmm have always seemed very similar to me
• Restaurants - Again probably a push
• Parks/outdoor amenities - dont know enough about the parks but prefer Houstons proximity to gulf so on that alone Houston
• Diversity - Hear that Houston is, both seem similar on feel I never really noticed a huge difference
• Cost of living - A wash both very good
• Vibe/hipness - In some ways I feel Houston gets a slight edge
• Anything else you feel is relevant

They seem more similar than different to me on many aspects but on personal preference I would chose Houston by a slight margin. Though I have spent nearly three times the time in Houston as opposed to DFW

Look, there's a few things wrong here (for the MILLIONTH time).

- You're confusing "redneck" for "Cowboy/Western"... AGAIN
- Fort Worth isn't apart of Dallas. So how could we "drag Dallas down" when we are not of Dallas?
- You don't know what redneck truly is. I'm a 22 year old black HBCU student who's lived in the city all my life and even I know what REAL redneck is. You see very, very little of it in Fort Worth.

I'm curious to where exactly you even went to in Fort Worth and how long you were there. I know I've asked you this several times already, but since you wont answer and chose to be ignorant, what's the point?
