??? um considering LA has more koreans than any other city outside korea.. this isn't really up for consideration. Korean people here often joke about LA being a city in korea--that just happens to be on the other side of the pacific.
btw koreans are taking over formerly japanese neighborhoods and towns throughout the metro (little tokyo, Gardena, Torrance) and also establishing a presence throughout orange county.. so there are many smaller koreatowns around as well.
Koreans are doing pretty well in the US, considering that LA is #1 outside Korea and NYC/NJ is #2.
I think in the US the third largest concentration of koreans is DC, right?
