I had never heard of Rome, GA until this thread. Sounds quaint.

Rome, Italy obviously kicks Chicago's ass.

How does Rome, Italy beat Chicago? There's a reason a lot of Italians left one for the other.

I voted for Chicago, it wins my vote by far. Be it, yes Rome Georiga appears to be a interesting town, but I have been to more unique places such as Dubuque, Iowa.

Rome, Georgia appears to also have a history of crime. Here is information released by city-data.com

Compare to Dubuque, Iowa

Rome does have some crime, but it is largely departmentalized in areas that most people don't go. There are some rough areas, but the average Roman never encounters them. There is very little, if any, spillover crime from those areas, and even they are getting better. Dubuque has nothing on us.
