Las Vegas, because it has the better nightlife, closer to Nationals Parks, and only a few hours from Southern California and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Isn't Orlando close to some of the world's best beaches as well? Two hours from Sarasota and Bradenton, one hour from Daytona, 4 hours from Miami Beach and 7 hours away from the FL Keys

You pretty much have your cake and eat it to in Orlando.
Orlando's latino an Haitian population is still nowhere near what it is in Miami. I wouldn't say Orlando is a Miami-lite in terms of demographics. For one thing Orlando has always had a large black population, the hispanic influx didnt happen until the 1990s

Whites still are Orlando's largest ethnic group (I believe the caucasian population in Orange County is around 49.9%) so just barely the minority now but still...

Most of the time I never had a problem with language barriers, but in Kissimmee its getting worse everyday

Living in Orlando, I don't think I'd want to live in Vegas simply because I view it as another tourist trap. I do like going to Universal and Disney, but in Orlando, that's the only real "culture" we have. The raging nightlife in Vegas would not convince me to go there.

I've been in Orlando since 2003 and it seems like most people I've known from the first few years are now gone. Nobody stays here very long. Vegas can't be much different.

I think Orlando is a better place to live. Las Vegas is nothing but a huge gambling center!

I would pefer Orlando for the amenities, being closer to beaches, and having better weather. Vegas is much hotter in summer, cold in winter, and way too dry. Orlando feels more tropical.
