Stop defending you're "wannabe" NYC city. Chicago has nothing. The lakes "wow", the sears tower "wow", pizza "wow...pizza", theres nothing in Chicago. If somebody want to go visit Chicago then they reconsider and try visiting NYC. Somewhere were they'll get more than just pizza and a walk around the city. Draw up a list of why "someone" should visit Chicago. If you visit NYC and you visit LA...you pretty much saw it all. Go get your popcorn! you'll need when you try comming up with a list!

What a ridiculous coment. Nothing to do in Chicago... Ha! You've obviously never been there.

the most visited city in the Country is Orlando! guess who's next?? Los Angeles! New York is at number 4 and Chicago is at six or five. Go check it on ForbesTraveler. The second largest city in the country is Los Angeles. Like it or not.

D.K. Shifflet & Associates is a Travel research company. Many major US cities include NY, Chicago, SF, LA, Seattle..etc. use data pubished by DKSA to estimate the tourism rankings and trends for their cities. Most cities did not use Forbes data because they know the info is not reliable. That's a big difference. So sad
Tourism rankings
A revised formula for calculating the number of domestic visitors to a city each year has vaulted Chicago into a four-way tie for first in 2006 with Atlanta, Orlando and New York. In 2005, under the old formula, Chicago was No. 4.

And Im just scratching the surface. Now I know its hard for LA folks to comprehend what a dynamic downtown is, but hopefully this will give you a slight clue.
Now, what can you do in downtown LA? Eat at Maria Villalobos' Taco Stand?
And Donnies comments are just perfect to nail. Just perfect! So dim-witted. "Oh well LA is better because we have more rappers than Chicago." lmfao!
