So do you think overall the south has more destinations than the midwest excluding Florida?

Montana, Dakota's, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Idaho, Iowa. I would add the Southwest region as flyover country as well.

Midwest. Some areas of the south I don't even think of as flyover country.

Just curious, is there a reason for this question? Or, is it an attempt at starting something? Otherwise, I can't quite figure out why you would ask this?

I'd say that anything between Los Angeles and New York is flyover country. There is no arguing with the literal definition of "flyover country."

I'm wondering the same thing. It's a silly question, and "flyover country" is a silly term. Anything you fly over is "flyover country." If you're flying from Chicago to Tokyo, the West Coast of the U.S. is "flyover country." If you're flying from Chicago to Warsaw, the East Coast of the U.S. and Western Europe are "flyover country". If you're flying from New York to Minneapolis, Chicago is "flyover country." See how silly this is? New York to Los Angeles represents a low percentage of flights.
