I agree that Boston's skyline is very unpleasant looking, with those tacky red-brownish want-to-look-old towers. You can see that most good pictures taken for Boston are either during the night or when it starts getting dark, but I still voted for it. I am more of a size person I think.
Boston's architecture is really good when you look at the smaller buildings, but those included in the skyline (especially the financial district) are really the ugliest cluster in America except for the custom house. No classic feel nor modern feel.

I love Boston's skyline, and it's bigger than Minneapolis'....that said, I think Minneapolis has a much more aesthetically pleasing skyline. Their 3 tallest are all clustered together and it looks great. Plus, all three of their tallest buildings are gorgeous. Each of them are unique and are of different styles.
How is Boston losing this?? I know boston isn't chicago or nyc or anything but jesus, its waaaay bigger than mineapolis. much more impressive.
To me, Boston's skyline is "meh".
It is just filled with typical glass boxes, and really doesn't have anything that stands out. The Prudential Center also, has to be one of the ugliest skyscrapers ever built; that building is one of the tallest in the city!
Minneapolis on the other hand, has a nice urban downtown core. Also, there are buildings that stand out, and have their own unique designs. For a city its size, it has a wonderful skyline.
