Hey , I am a senior student at one university in Los Angeles and have been in this city for 5 years. I would like to get into in a fashion business . I will first start to use my connections and import shirts and some other stuff from Europe (thats where Im originally from ) and sell it in here as a wholesale-retailer wise , And if it goes well ' wanna make my own brand and get in into the market better.

My issue and question in here is Should i do it in NYC or LA . I know that the NYC has a bigger impact on Fashion & Styles than La but It will also be a start over again which I am thinking. I honestly don't wanna do it La but on the other hand the years I have got in here and adaptation pulls me back . Where should I start up ?? Move to the NYC and start over there or Stay where I am now and make it up in here ??? NYC or LA ??

Best Regards

Well, in both cities, you have people from all over the world who come there specifically to get into that industry. Having contacts, or at least the foundation that comes with already living in a place, having a home and friends and (possibly) another job that could help float you in uncertain times is a huge advantage.

Starting over in a new city is generally just that: starting over. Unless you have tons of friends and/or family in a place, contacts, etc., then no matter what it's starting anew.
