Best city for single college graduate (life, market, job, beach)

Which city best fits this criteria?
-Recreation (parks, beach, mountains, theatre, etc.)
-Good dating scene (male in early-mid 20s)
-Metro pop at least 1,000,000
-Information systems Job (mainly, but not limited to GIS)
-Diverse racially
If you don't mind not having mountains close by then Houston would be a good choice since it currently has a booming job market and plenty of other amenities such as theater, nightlife, museums, etc.
DC would be another good option since you have the Federal Government and various contractors in the area plus you have tons of amenities in and around the area not to mention easy access to other cities such as NYC, Philly, Baltimore, etc for a quick getaway.
