And, compared to any place in North America, at night too.

There are probably more people walking around at midnight in the general Times Square/Broadway/Theater District alone than in the next five largest U.S. downtowns combined.

As a whole. Not every block. And parts of michigan ave beat out streets in midtown for both. Not all obviously but some. Same goes for areas of boston, sf etc.

I believe you. But i guess it depends on what you mean by "quiet". Quiet as in not very crowded, sure. Quiet as in almost dead, probably not. Also depends on where in Midtown we are talking about. Between 8th and 3rd Avenues you'd be hard pressed to find a very quiet block on a normal day at 8pm. But go far enough east or west, where it gets more residential, and sure you can easily find quiet blocks.

I cant remember how far east it was. Pretty sure east of park. I never said it was dead but it certainly wasnt teeeming with people. Compared to what im used to in dc and chicago i didnt see a difference.

And, again, I think you're lying.

Again, if the busiest place in North America is a ghost town, then every place is a ghost town, and so the term is meaningless. If you claim Flatiron/Chelsea/Madison Square/Union Square at midnight is a ghost town, then what does that make other cities?

At midnight it was when i was there. There a few people coming out of restaurants but that was it. Again, i never said all of midtown. Obviously i cant be on every street at midnight.
